Description
F1 Williams Renault inspired custom painted frameset. This was painted and built up with SRAM/Zipp components as a demonstration frame for display at the Rouleur Classic show in London to promote the new 12 speed SRAM groupset at the time. It has since been on display in a high end bike shop, Vive Le Velo – East Yorkshire. Fully custom painted by myself at Kustomflow in Hull. The design was inspired by Nigel Mansells ‘Red5’ Williams-Renault livery and includes all the main sponsors as seen on the iconic FW14 F1 championship winning car he drove. This would be an ideal addition to any F1 fans collection, it would look great built up in a sports bar or man cave, something totally different, one of a kind! It’s also a very capable frameset if you want to build up and ride it. Please note this sale is for the frame, forks, bars, stem, seat post and saddle only. BB and headset also included. Sadly SRAM wanted their groupset and wheels back after the show so it’s not a full bike (images are just for illustration purposes)
The frameset is an FR316 (size 56) from Flyxii which was purchased at the time to be used as a demonstration frame with no conflict of interest to the component brands being displayed at any given time on the frame. Prior to paintwork it was built and tested in the Yorkshire Dales, it rides perfectly, however quite an agressive geometry for some. More photos available on request. Frameset is currently stored at the workshop and any viewing is more than welcome. Any questions just ask. I am in no rush to sell this, its priced to sell. The frame is listed on eBay, however you will pay more via eBay. The price is reduced if buying direct from me as there are no selling fees involved. You can pay via card or bank transfer. Please note there is a small mark on the front fork which occured during transit back from the show London – This will be fixed by myself, along with a full polish prior to completion of any sale. Free postage anywhere U.K. mainland – can be shipped internationally at buyers expense. Collection more than welcome. |
