Carl brought in his BMC RoadMachine, orginally in a stealthy black colour scheme he wanted something with some colour, yet retaining a subtle design including some personalisation and tie in to his racing clubs jersey.
He brought in another bike which he liked the base colour of and wanted to match it if possible. After going through our inhouse colour swatches we decided on the metallic grey basecoat. A red and yellow band was added to the seat tube, these colours along with black all tie in to the club jersey. There are a few smaller details such as a Yorkshire rose, 1961 and the Lion of Flanders all subtly painted onto the frame.
