There are a lot of factors involved but I’ll do my best to provide a competitive estimation for you based on your requirements.
Can you touch up/repair artwork
Unless it’s my paintwork I would recommend you contact the original artist/painter first out of courtesy and respect. At this moment in time I am not undertaking any minor repair work such as stone chips and scratches. Full repaints only.
Can you paint over or work on my existing paintwork?
I can work on top of existing finishes as long as they are in good condition (factory is usually best). If you have had an item re-finished you might have some underlying issues to be considered.
How long will my paintwork take
I can work to a deadline as long as it is realistic, but I won’t compromise on quality.
If you have a specific date in mind for a project to be completed by I will try my best to deliver on time, but won’t be rushed as the end result may suffer.
I try to turn a small project around in 2-8 weeks (helmets/guitars/bike frames etc), bigger projects may take a little longer or if they need to be in/out the booth more than usual.
DUE TO COVID19 PROJECT COMPLETION TIMES HAVE BEEN AFFECTED AND MAY TAKE LONGER THAN USUAL. KUSTOMFLOW IS OPERATING IN A REDUCED CAPCITY AS A RESULT.
Can I pop in for a chat or visit the studio

How do I get the ball rolling?
Hopefully the first part (and the hardest) is you have an idea of what you want doing, the next step is easy – just get in touch. We can then discuss your project in more detail and I can provide an estimation.
What forms of payment do you take?
I accept Cash, Bank Transfer and card.
All payments are accountable, I therefore can’t offer discounts if you want to pay by cash, or on the promise that you will generate more work for me if I do it cheaper!
All payments must have fully cleared before I can release any goods/artwork and a deposit must be paid before I start any concept artwork or book your job in.
Can you do a sketch or mock up of my work?
I provide digital mock ups and conceptual artwork for nearly all projects.
I charge a non-refundable deposit or will agree a one off fee payment which will allow me to allocate time to produce concept artwork for your project.
If you commit to paintwork, the deposit is put towards your final invoice.
One off fee payments for concept work will provide you with all artwork/designs and the rights to them to use how you feel fit.
Unfortunately I can’t provide free artwork!
Where are you based?
I am based just outside Hull, East Yorkshire, UK. (HU7)
I don’t advertise the shop address for a number of reasons.

Can I ship my item to you to paint?
You can send pretty much anything to me to be painted (within reason). I take on commissions of all shapes and sizes from all corners of the world and can source next day shipping for you.
Do you teach or can I work for you?
Unfortunately I don’t have the capacity to employ, train or offer work experience at the moment.
If you’re serious about learning to airbrush and paint I can point you in the right direction and offer some friendly advice.
Hows my paintjob doing? can I see it? can you send me a picture?
I’m in a fortunate position to have a steady stream of work, however in order for me to keep this running the way it should I prefer not to have to stop and send pictures all the time or wait around for visitors during business hours etc as it just delays work.
Do you repair carbon frames?
I can do some cosmetic frame repairs before paintwork but if the structure of the carbon is compromised I would always recommend taking it to a specialist. I can put you in touch with some of the best carbon repair technicians in the country.
How long is your waiting list?
I operate on a first come first serve booking system, booking jobs in well in advance with a deposit securing an estimated time slot. I am generally booked up months in advance, but you can book in for a time slot further away.
I try and keep the website updated, there should be an availability banner running on each page of the website which gives a rough idea of when you could expect to book in.
