I first laid my hands on an airbrush after graduating from a degree in illustration at the University of Lincoln. My enthusiasm for the art grew whilst working on projects for family and friends, teaching myself the skills and techniques, which, combined with my originality and versatility, led to a growing demand for my artwork. From this, Kustomflow Paint Studio was eventually established.
My natural aptitude and creativity allows me to transform a blank canvas - whether it's a bike, a helmet, a guitar, or literally a canvas - into a work of art. I have an excellent working knowledge of graphic design packages, which help me to provide you with concept artwork during your consultation, to ensure you are 100 % happy with your design before a drop of paint even touches a surface.
My work has featured in publications such as Pinstriping and Kustom Graphics Magazine as well as at shows across the country.
So to ensure your next piece of custom artwork is show quality, get in touch.
I specialise in providing airbrushed artwork and custom paint schemes on a variety of projects, created exclusively to suit each individual client's requirements.
I am responsible for all aspects of a project, from the initial design consultation through to the final polish and everything else in between, working with you at every step to ensure you are more than happy with the finished product.
Each project is completed using the highest quality paints, materials and equipment from market leading brands, with a professional body shop service and a low bake spray booth oven available.
I am open to any kind of commission, including completely unique wall murals and fine art projects outside of the studio. I am quite happy to incorporate your ideas should you wish to have some input on your design or you can allow me to use my imagination to create something totally unique for you.
There's a lot more to a custom paint job than meets the eye. All of my work is custom and because no two jobs are ever the same, prices will always vary.
I'm more than happy to give a rough quote for any prospective project, with absolutely no need for you to commit to an order.
From the experience I have gained, I know how important it is that you are thrilled with each custom job you receive, paintwork won't be compromised, so while I will strive to meet deadlines, it's important you are patient.
Jobs are charged by what is put into the project - hours, materials and creativity. More intricate artwork is time consuming and this will be reflected in your price. Also, for any job over £200 a 30 % retainer is required to secure a time slot and cover concept artwork.
Payment is due on completion of the work. Your goods will not be released until payment has been received and cleared.
"Although Tom is fairly new to his profession, I felt confident in letting him design his own piece. He had an open book and I was very impressed. His work turn-round was very good and he treated me as I would have expected from any professional so much so that I have given him another project."
Rob Crowther - RC Motors
"Tom has painted two guitars for me, one of which is of huge sentimental value but I was more than happy for him to work on it. Tom is easy to get along with and I was really impressed with his attitude to his work. He has great attention to detail, keeps you informed of progress, asks all the important questions and most importantly is always looking to do even better work. I would recommend anyone to go to Tom if you want a really meticulous job from a man with a lot of talent and a great eye for detail."
Matt Kirby - Lead Guitarist, Wizards Sleeve
"Tom recently painted my hockey mask, I get compliments from all over the sport about it. I'm so happy with it! It turns a lot of heads, which was the idea."
Ben Preston - Hockey Mask
